Stress, Anxiety and
Low Mood

Feeling overwhelmed and struggling to cope are perfectly normal feelings in our fast-paced world.  Hypnotherapy will explain why this is happening and how we can work together to get the real you back and feeling better.

Stress, anxiety and low mood can influence our perception of our lives.  The levels of stress and their effects are different for each of us.  What could be seen for some as a normal level of stress could be a high level of stress for others. Too much stress can impact your health.  It can affect how your body and immune system work, how you think, feel, behave and react.

The body’s natural responses to stress are anxiety, anger and low mood or a combination of all three.  These responses affect our thoughts and behaviours.

Interestingly these responses are genetically inherited from our primitive brain and are predominantly there to protect us and help us to survive.  Evolution eventually added the intellectual brain that can evaluate, reason, plan, problem solve, invent and imagine. If for one reason or another, in modern day life, our stress levels become overloaded our primitive brain will take over to protect us and keep us safe.  Unfortunately, when there are raised levels of stress and anxiety, we can find it difficult to rationalise, think logically and cope.

If you are experiencing stress, anxiety or low mood I can help you to find solutions and get the real you back.

How Solution Focused Hypnotherapy helps Stress, Anxiety and Low Mood

Solution focused hypnotherapy is a gentle process which uses neuroscience to explain how the brain works in relation to stress, anxiety or low mood and how we can rewire it to achieve your goals. I will combine this with hypnosis to access your subconscious mind where suggestion has the ability to change a person’s thoughts and behaviours. We will work together to reduce your stress and anxiety and help you regain control and perspective, which in turn will enable you to cope with any challenges that come along.
